God’s on the GO with Giokdin

The JOY was so genuine, and lit up every crevice around her eyes.  We  had prayed together, with Giokdin taking the lead after I had told her that our co-worker’s baby (little Judy pictured here with Cherry and Caleb, our Missionary Interns from SIM) was sick with a very high temperature and had been throwing up. 看哪!歡樂是如此真誠，點亮了她眼睛的每一個小角落。今天我告訴玉X我們要一起為同工- Caleb和Cherry（來自SIM的實習宣教士夫婦）的孩子Judy代禱，因為她生病了發高燒，還不停的嘔吐。  This baby’s fever happening at a time when everyone is locked down because of Co-Vid gave us ALL a heavy spirit. But Giokdin prayed in earnest for that baby, and when the good news came that the family was all safe and feeling better back at home, we were all so relieved!  I looked at Giokdin with the joy oozing from her countenance, and told her that if she could only repent of her sins and old life, and come to Jesus with her whole heart, that she would be so happy, a new person!  After this sweet moment with her, I believe that God indeed is at work in her heart and life, and someday she will be gloriously born again!  孩子發燒發生在人人都因為新冠肺炎而盡量關在家裡的時刻，導致所有人心情沉重，擔心醫院的安全以及發燒的原因。 玉X真誠地為孩子禱告。所幸後來好消息傳來，看過醫師後，孩子退燒了，全家人也都安然無恙回到家裡，我們全都鬆了一口氣！我看著玉X，喜樂從她的臉上流露。我告訴她，一個人只要認自己的罪並拋棄舊生活，全心全意地來信靠耶穌，就會如此喜樂，因為成了新造的人！在與玉X共享這段甜美時光之後，我相信上帝確實在她的心中和生命中動工，總有一天，她會重生、榮耀神！

Did I neglect to tell you that Giokdin has been the cross that every pastor in the church has born for the last seven years? . . . calling us at all hours of the night, manipulating us with her constant crying and complaints, wheedling at least a little something out of us before she leaves after an hour or two conversation, coming to church and distracting the service as she hobbled to the bathroom barely falling over on the way, even though she can move  without a hitch when she wants to!  不記得是否曾經告訴您，玉X-是好厝邊教會七年來每個牧師的十字架…她會在夜間的不同時段打電話進來，用她的哭聲和抱怨來不斷干擾，她會無預期的來占用一兩個小時，然後從我們得到一點東西後才離開。來教會時，她經常會干擾聚會，她會在崇拜中表現步履顛躓地走去上廁所，看似隨時會摔跤，不過當她想走的時候，卻可以毫無困難地移動！Giokdin, today  reported with GLEE how she managed to switch her empty gas tank with her rival’s full one (they take turns stealing from one another!)  I told her to please not report to me her sins, and that the Bible says there will be no thieves and liars in heaven.  This conversation came AFTER Giokdin prayed for our co-workers’ baby. 玉X今天得意的透露她是如何設計用自己的空油箱騙得鄰居的油（她們彼此互相偷竊！）我告訴她以後不要向我述說她如何犯罪，聖經說，小偷和騙子無法進天堂。這次對話是在玉X為同工的寶寶代禱之後坦言的。 Giokdin cleans house for us weekly,  so that we can legitimately give her some money to help her survive.  Please pray with us that Giokdin will be gloriously saved; we can see it coming!  We serve a GREAT LOVING GOD and FATHER, a WONDERFUL SAVIOR! 我們讓玉X每週為我們打掃房子，這樣可以理由正當的給她一些生活費。請與我們一起禱告，玉X的生命要被拯救，而且是在不久的將來！ 感謝主!我們所服事的是一位充滿愛的神和父、偉大的救主！
